Web Work Team

The EMU web website is designed, developed and maintained by the Web Work Team (WWT). This is a collaborative effort between marketing services and information systems. The team is co-directed by the director of marketing services and the director of information systems and meets monthly to plan and discuss made up of staff from both marketing and information services. The team plans and discusses issues related to the EMU web sitewebsite.

Curators make important contributions to the website. Each department is encouraged to appoint a curator to keep the department pages updated. Curators Web content for the public-facing website is maintained through a content management system (CMS) which the marketing department manages. Some departments have CMS users that have access to make limited changes to the content of department web pages. Users are trained by the web project manager and strategist and must understand and agree to support the policies and standards outlined in the Web Publishing Guide and Web Image Standards.
