Skill acquisition in the learning laboratory through simulation , and skill demonstrations (e.g. urinary indwelling catheter insertion, wound careaseptic technique, vital signs, and glucometer). Clinical experiences take place in a nursing home, acute care setting, schools, and other community settings.
