Whereas the peacebuilding and devel- opment development (PXD) major is designed for students who want a focus in both peace- building peacebuilding and development, the global development major is designed as a
stand-alone major for students particular- ly particularly interested in careers addressing social, political, and economic inequality and injustice. This major benefits students with bi-vocational interests. It cannot be
taken as a double major with the PXD major or the peacebuilding major.
