A mathematically intensive study of basic QM as related to atomic and molecular structures. Topics include application of the Schroedinger Schrodinger equation , the uncertainty principle, bound and scattering states, the hydrogen atomto model systems, hydrogenic wave functions, approximation methods, models of chemical bonding, and spectroscopy.
