This capstone photography class offers the opportunity for students to develop an artistic and vocational vision. Using advanced color and black & white techniques, they will develop Students will create a coherent body of work for gallery, book and print/web display . Students and will investigate vocational career options related to photography and will create career-based documents such as résumés and cover letters. This course should be taken in the junior or senior year as a lead-in to VACA 481 Senior Thesis. Photography majors (and others who plan to exhibit) should take Junior/Senior Photography Portfolio in the fall semester of the last full year they are on campus. They should plan to take VACA 481 Senior Thesis the next semester (where they will exhibit and write about the work they developed in portfolio class). Prerequisites: VACA 151 and VACA 252.
