This minor is designed for students who The minor in Community Organizing and Development orients students to basic theories, strategies, and spheres of practice in community organizing and community development and culminates in an internship at a Metro DC organization through the Washington Community Scholars’ Center (WCSC). Students with interests in community-based work, social and racial justice, activism, and/or a career in the nonprofit and social services sector will benefit from this minor.
