This course introduces analysis and design of control systems. Differential equations and transfer functions will be used for modeling of dynamical systems. Stability, tracking, regulation, and sensitivity will be discussed for both open-loop and close-loop structures. The proportional, integral, and derivative (PID) control will be introduced. Root locus, frequency response, and state-variable feedback methods will be presented for feedback control design. Prerequisites: ENGR 380 (Fall 2021)
