- CMUS 116 Appreciating Music Making - 2
- CMUS 181 Music Theory I - 3
- CMUS 250 Music History I - 3
- Three semesters of private studies - 3
- Three credits for participation in music ensembles - 3
- Three credits from any offering of the music department - 3
+Students may be excused from this course by examination. When this occurs, the student will complete three credits from other music offerings.
