Mathematics Major, Teaching Endorsement for Grades 6-12

This program will prepare students to teach mathematics by instructing them in the standards of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM). Students must complete the mathematics major as outlined in the mathematics section including MATH 364 and MATH 460. In addition, as part of their six computer science credits, students must complete two courses from CS 145, CS 245, and CS 255. All students seeking licensure to teach must follow the procedures for admission to teacher education and to student teaching.
