BIOL 358 Natural History of the Shenandoah Valley (4 SH)

This course focuses on identification and understanding of the flora, fauna, and geology of the Shenandoah Valley. Students investigate general principles of natural history while simultaneously developing a sense of "place" in the local region. Laboratories rely heavily on field trips. Prerequisite: an annual safety training outside of class and BIOL 173 or permission of instructor. (Spring 2022)
