This is an introduction into the study of statistics.  The goal of the class is to expose the student to basic statistical ideas and concepts.  The emphasis of the class is on statistical logic, recognition of basic statistical methods, and evaluation of statistical research. There will be a minimum of mathematical theory and computation.
