AVIA 340 Professional Operations (3 SH)

In this course students will study subjects related to the exercise of their Commercial Pilot Certificate in professional settings. These will include aspects of line operations related to security, aircraft servicing, and passenger safety, as well as Pilot-in-Command responsibilities in regard to aircraft maintenance and airworthiness. Students will visit the operations and maintenance facilities of a 14 CFR Part 135 air charter organization and will complete a research project and paper based on a complex general aviation operation.
