After you have created your login,  follow the instructions below for your type of device.  

 If you have an Android device
  1. Select EMU WiFi

  2. EAP method should be changed to PEAP, if it isn't already



  3. Phase 2 authentication needs to be changed to MSCHAPV2



  4. CA certificate should be "Use system certificates" if it is an option (it is more secure), otherwise use "(Unspecified)" or "Do not validate"



  5. If "Use system certificates" is selected, the domain needs to be set to: "dad.emu.edu", and the identity is your username.


 If you have a Chromebook
  1. Select EMU WiFi

  2. EAP method should be changed to PEAP

  3. Phase 2 authentication needs to be changed to MSCHAPV2

  4. CA certificate should be Default, or Do not validate if Default is not an option


 If you have an Apple mobile device (iPhone, iPad, etc.)
  1. Select EMU WiFi

  2. Sign in with your credentials

  3. Trust the certificate


 If you have an Apple computer (laptop, desktop)
  1. First, navigate to the "WiFi" symbol at the top of the screen and click on it. Then look for "EMU" on the list of available networks.



  2. When you click on it, a window will pop up asking you to authenticate to the server. Do so with your EMU username and password.



  3. A new window will pop up asking you to verify the network certificate. It is safe, and necessary to do so.



  4. Once you hit "Continue", the computer will prompt you to sign in to update settings. Do so.



  5. You should now be connected to the WiFi.


 If you have a Windows 10 device
  1. First, navigate to the "WiFi symbol" in the lower left hand side of the screen close to the time.

  2. Then, click on it, select "EMU", and then click connect.



  3. Type your username and password in the space provided, and hit "Ok"



  4. You should be prompted to verify that you trust this network, hit
