To change your ROYAL password: Windows

  •   On-campus EMU owned computer: login to the computer and press ctrl+alt+del,  choose Change a Password

  •   Off-campus EMU owned computer:

    please call the EMU Helpdesk at 540-432-4357

    Connect to VPN and follow the instructions for on campus.

  •   Personal computer: go to 

    my

    password.emu.edu and select 'Change

To change your ROYAL password: Mac

  •   EMU owned computer:

    Use an EMU network connection,

    • On Campus: Open System Preferences → Users and Groups. Select your name in the left pane

    and choose

    • then select Change Password on the right. This will change the password for your Computer as well as all EMU resources.

    • Off Campus: Connect to VPN and follow the instructions for on campus.

  •   Personal computer: go to 

    my

    password.emu.edu and

    select Change Royal Password

    select 'Change my password' from the left column.
