1. Go to vpn-new.emu.edu and login with your EMU credentials.
2. Click on Download FortiClient and select the Windows version.

1. Once download has completed install the FortiClient

1. Client.
   1. Make sure the "Secure Remote Access" box is checked when installing.

2. Check the checkbox and click “I accept”
3. In the next screen click on “Configure VPN”
4. Enter the following information to configure the VPN settings
• Connection Name: EMU VPN
• Remote Gateway: vpn-new.emu.edu
• Click “Save”
5. Enter you EMU username and password and click “Connect”.

Accessing files over VPN

EMU-owned computers running Windows should automatically map the network drives that you have access to. For access from a non-EMU owned computer please see the following instructions.

1. Download the Windows drive mapping script.
2. Double click the script to run it.
3. Enter your Royal username and password, click "ok". When the password prompt disappears your network drives will be available.
