Details

General

  • We've pre-loaded (see what we did there?) prior-prior year data. I.e. for academic year 2017-18 we've brought in data from 2015-16.

Faculty pane (left)

  • Faculty who have taught courses within the department in the last two years are sorted to the top. All faculty are available through search.
  • Inactive faculty--e.g. adjuncts off-contract--are shown with their load totals crossed out.
  • Total load is shown for each faculty member. These totals change color--yellow, green, red--as they approach and pass the expected total load for that faculty member.
  • Loading may be 'locked' if someone else is entering load for a given faculty member. This may not make the waiting easier but at least you know who you're impatient with.
  • If you think a faculty member is missing from the list please contact the provost's office and request that the faculty be made active.

Course pane (right)

  • Only courses within the department will be shown.
  • Each course listing shows the total number of sections loaded. Expand any listing to see load details.

Section pane (center)

  • Section code is optional. You'll want to add it to keep track of separate sections, though.
  • Default load is set to student credit hours for the course. You can adjust it.
  • As soon as you save a section it's reflected in the faculty and course columns.
  • If you think a course is missing from the list please contact ???.

  • No labels
