MATH 310 Differential Equations (3 SH)
A study of the use of differential equations - that is, equations involving both functions and their derivatives - in the construction of mathematical models to address real-world problems. Students will be taught analytical, numerical, and graphical techniques for formulating, solving, and interpreting ordinary differential equations of first and higher- order. The emphasis will be on applications to engineering and the physical sciences. Prerequisite: MATH 195. (Fall 2020)
Core: MATH
Offered in alternate years
