The student will investigate legal and ethical issues facing healthcare professionals, including racial issues and legalities regarding underserved populations. Students will explore the basics of healthcare ethics and review ethical situations. Students will gain a working knowledge of various theories of healthcare law and ethics with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion. Prerequisite: HCML 220.
