HCML 220 Healthcare Policy (3 SH)

The student will be equipped with knowledge of the social, political, and economic context of US healthcare and the distribution of medical care, pharmaceuticals, public and private insurers and managed care organizations. Policies as well as basic economics will be discussed as well as policies addressing healthcare disparities. Prerequisites: HCML 131, HCML 240.
