Employees are granted a specific allotment of paid time off each fiscal year.

An employee must request approval of vacation or paid time off in advance, except in the case of emergency. Approval of paid time off is contingent upon the needs of the department and EMU.

Jury Duty

Leave is allowed for employees who are called to serve as jurors. A supervisor may request documentation from the employee confirming the dates scheduled for jury duty.

Employees will receive their regular compensation and be allowed to keep that which they receive from the court (both per diem and mileage amounts).
