Reviews policies and procedures and monitors compliance with them The purpose of the EMU Safety Committee is to develop and promote a safe and secure environment for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors to our campuses through education, communication, and practice of safe work practices.

Communication flows to the University from the chair via written minutes that are copied to Vice President of Finance and by periodic e-mail and paper communications. An annual report will be completed and submitted to the Executive Leadership team in June.
