BIOL 305 Biology Professions Seminar (1 SH)

Experiential community learning related to future biology vocations is coordinated with classroom instruction and reflective writing based on readings and experiences. Typical experiences include formal conversations with biology and other STEM alumni, tours of regional biology-related business or laboratories, and presentations by STEM professionals. Students will develop potential career plans and expand their understanding of possible vocations within STEM, including various health professions. Recommended for juniors and above. Prerequisite: BIOL 173 or equivalent
