Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act

Pursuant to federal legislation, EMU is required to communicate information regarding the unlawful possession, use or distribution of illicit drugs and alcohol to its employees and students.

The unlawful possession, use or distribution of illicit drugs and alcohol by students and employees on the EMU property is prohibited.  The full statement of this Act can be found on page 17 of the 2010-11 Student Handbook available at www.emu.edu/studentlife/studenthandbook.
