Commuter Students


A commuter student is any person who does not live in residence hall housing. They include students living with family, students living in off-campus apartments, and married students.

Advising and Advocacy

Commuters have some needs in common with other EMU students, as well as those that are more specialized.  The associate dean of students: student engagement, student programs, and orientation has been identified as an advocate for commuters. The office is located in the University Commons, Student Life Suite A, 2nd floor; 540-432-4133.

Lockers
