Personal Routers and Wireless Access Points
Personal Routers and Wireless Access Points
Routers and wireless access points are forbidden anywhere on the EMU network, with one exception: if the device's wireless radio is disabled, and the router is used only as an ethernet switch.
Devices that broadcast a wireless signal must not be used on campus because of the possibility of interfering and/or disruption EMU's wireless network, which would reduce and/or degrade wireless coverage for other uses on campus.
