Economics Minor (17-18 SH)
The economics minor is attractive to students who seek to supplement their major with an economic perspective. This minor is of particular interest to students majoring in environmental science, peacebuilding and development, social work, history, pre-law, business, the health professions, and similar programs.
The economics minor consists of the following courses for a total of 17-18 SH:
- ECON 211 Principles of Microeconomics - 3
- ECON 212 Principles of Macroeconomics - 3
- *ECON 341 Intermediate Microeconomics - 3
- *ECON 342 Intermediate Macroeconomics - 3
- Any 300 or 400-level ECON course - 3
Choose one of the following courses:
- PXD 375 Globalization and Justice - 3
- Any 300 or 400-level ECON course - 3
- ACTG, BUAD, CIS, FIN, or MKTG elective (200 level or above) - 2-3
