Purpose

Oversee ethical and technical concerns regarding the use of animals in teaching and research

Membership

Consists of at least 5 members, including: practicing scientist experienced in animal research, attending veterinarian, person whose concerns are in a nonscientific area, and public member (unaffiliated with the institution)

Faculty serve three-year terms
